Greetings...1st of all I am a casual player and have very limited playtime so I only have access to a subset of all the gear available for my level 80 140aa Monk. I have been following the threads discussing 'equipment for the non-raider' closely as even though I dont raid I like to make my Monk the best he can be. Over time I have accumulated all 7 pieces of the legendary Quarrelsome set.

My question is there anyone on the forum who has looked at the 6-piece Quarrelsome bonus in any depth and would like to share their opinions about it? I have done some parsing at the wall in KJ swapping out various gear and to me the proc seems to add a fair amount of damage overall. I end up tanking a lot so I like the Quarrelsome set because of the higher Mitigation it has relative to other legendary leather available. However, other pieces have higher stats like STR etc. that I like as well. I have the Reet Knight helmet so that is the non-set piece that I have been using in combination with the others to get the bonus.

How many of you try to keep that bonus or.... lose it? Just looking for some opinions and feedback to help decide some things as I do have some gear that I would like to swap in but of course then I would lose the Quarrelsome proc.

Thanks!

Max

I'm in the same situation, except I only have 4 of the 7 pieces. I've been fighting to switch to this gear for a couple of reasons. One the stats are less than gear I already have (most from RoK solo quest) and two and most importantly almost all of the gear I'm getting rid of has melee crit bonus. It could be mental, because I haven't really looked at my parse that much until recently, but it seems like my DPS has gone down.

I have 6/7 pieces.I was wearing them for dps gear, but have since cut it back to 3 for the +75 CA bonus.

quite honestly the other 79+ legendary gear is a bit better if you have all the 'pieces"

I dont think the effect procs enough to matter enough to not wear some of the other better gear.
