Can we? huh huh huh? -begs- I am HAPPY SOE gave us ALL the crafting stations in SPF, right next to the broker and BANKER! But! Adding the Tradeskill Writ givers, would be....say....like the corner peice of a wonderfully tastey cake with Extra yummy icing! It would help out alot, and i dont think i am the only one who would greatly benefit from fit from this. I love crafting in the open in South Freeport! So pleases, Sony?? pleases??pssttt!! maybe if enough people sign the thread, maybe they will think about it more!

I second it! It is where I spend all my time with my toons now and have set their call points here. And it is a pain to get to WFP to the writ house, it's actually easier to zone to Longshadow or something and go in the TS instance, where you have no bank or mail in the same zone. Alternatively OR also, can we get a broker and bank in or closer to the WFP coalition? down the stairs, out the door, across the zone... I never writ there if I didn't stock up on tons of raws.

If they do that, they might as well put a writ-giver in SQ too. And QH, and NFP, and... you get the idea. Not that I think that would be a bad thing. But currently the official crafting society representatives, like the writ-givers, are found only in official crafting society buildings, which makes sense.Question: Are the writ-giving books useable outside of people's homes? And are they useable by more than one person?

There is absolutely no other zone in freeport with a bank, broker and every crafting station right there in one spot or even close. It's only missing TS writs. From the coalition in WFP, it is a huge pain to run around the zone, through the buildings , up the stairs, smack to the other sides of the zone, in far far away almost a triangle of the 3 places.I have one qeynos alt and I do tradeskill on her, she spends most of her time in NQ where the Ironforge Exchange is. Where there is a bank and a broker each one building away in a tidy nearby triangle from the ironforge house. So she can do her writs a few steps away from the bank and broker and of course mailbox right outside.

I'll second this, NQ is far far far easier for crafters then WFP. I have actually run short of an item on a timed writ and *nearly* managed to run to bank, grab item & get back before writ timed out (ONE blue bar... ugh). There is NO WAY you could even get from the TS to the bank & back (unless you are a freakily speed maxed rogue & I still doubt it) in the time alotted for a speed writ.

I think it would be even cooler if the writs were given out by the associated NPC tradesperson. Prov wirts handed out at the bakery, Alchemist writs at the potion shop, and so on. That way it would seem like we are working in a "real" shop.
