I've read the plenty of threads going back months devoted to this issue, but none give a definitive solution, or give any reason as to the cause. For weeks I can play with no problem, then I get hit by zoning issues, whether it be hanging on waiting for entities, loading UI resouces, receiving zone info etc. On the occasions I can get in, I can run around for a while before NPCs etc start disappearing, and I can no longer interact with the world and have to relog. This is what I know...I have two PCs and a laptop, and the problem manifests itself on all of them.Only certain toons are affected. There are 'problem' zones with certain toons, i.e. my warden usually gets stuck zoning into QH, my swash gets stuck zoning into EL etc. Nearly all my toons have trouble with commonlands for some reason, except my Necro who has never had issues.CS will invariably tell me to delete cache files, ini files, do a full system scan etc. This doesn't work. This is NOT a client-side problem.Any server downtime seems to fix things for a while.I've played the game for three years, and I never had this happen pre-RoK.Which leads me to conclude that the problem is server-side with my account or characters, or less likely a problem with my network connection. If it is my network connection then it doesn't explain why only certain characters are affected.I know this was a big issue for many people at one time, and for them it may be fixed, but lately this is becoming a potential deal-breaker for me. Any insight as to what a long-term solution may be would be appreciated.

Different characters use different ports. There could be an issue with those ports. Generally when you power cycle the modem or your router it will remove such problems.  Same thing could happen if you have a firewall and those ports are being blokced. 1 character can get in, another can't.

That is true.  A well timed power-cycle can fix many issues with logins after a patch day.
