I've noticed with the game update that you can now pick up adventure writs for same alignment cities, for instance qeynos citizens can get writs for factions in kelethin. I had moved a toon from kelethin to qeynos and checked to see if I could still make use of her kelethin tradeskill faction, and it let me, so I would assume the same goes for adventure factions. However, I am not able to pick up tradeskill writs for another city, they keep offering faction for my home city.

Since we can now make use of adventure factions for same-aligned cities, can we look forward to being able to get tradeskill writs from those cities? Currently the only way is to get your tradeskill faction, then change cities. I was hoping the change in adventure writs means we can look forward to the same thing coming with tradeskill writs.

I agree this would be nice. There are items only avialable from one crafting society and it would be real nice to have access to allies without changing residence.

with the past game update, adventure writs were added to allow you to work factions for allied cities. i.e. qeynos can do writs for kelethin adventure faction, and freeport can do writs for neriak adventure faction.

can we please have some tradeskill writs to allow us to work tradeskill factions with those ally cities?

That said, as far as I know you have always been allowed to do writs from the cities of the same allinement, with 2 caviats. One, you did not get Faction from them just status, and two for some reason the Writ givers in KP who are of the same faction but differant city did not give writs.I am not shure but I am willing to bet, that you maybe able to get Ironforge Exchange writs if you are from Kelethin and visa versa, however I do beleave you would have to accually be getting the writ from the writ giver in the city you wanted to work faction on.

That's sort of what i meant. the adventure writs allow us to work for factions for the ally city instead of our own faction. for instance if i am from qeynos, i can pick up a full set of all 4 writs for qeynos, and a set of writs for kelethin factions. however, when i go to kelethin for tradeskill, the only tradeskill writs i can get are for ironforge exchange, qeynos. Thats why i was asking if we could be allowed to do tradeskill writs for our ally cities since they dont seem to be in the game, but the adventure ones are.

edited-- the little quote button messed up on me /sad panda
