Its so easy!I cant see why people say assassins cant solo, i'm in half Mc gear, with app4 weapons, and 1 master (level 50 :p )And i can solo easily, adds can be a pain but i can deal with them 80% of the time, encounters arnt that bad because normally they are VV or VVV to compensate more of them, solo mobs i never had an easier time....So why are people saying assassin is a pain to solo?

The cobalt armor had random stats that didnt really help that much.and also, if you use vitality breach poison.. gets even easier <img src="/smilies/69934afc394145350659cd7add244ca9.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />

it really does get harder mate... you can always be [Removed for Content] out for your level, but like Aenashi says hit 70+ and the first kill is easy, but the second and third is going to get hard... but that's the great thing about assassins the challenge of the fight

Hmmm. My assassin, Tenamora, is in all MC gear and jewelry that's about 20 levels too low for her level ((can't seem to find upgrades that I like)). She began soloing in KP at level 64 killing the badgers and yetis. She was killing skellies, drolvargs and arachnids at 65. Now tell me again how hard it is to solo? She's 69 now and taking on level 71 mobs.

70-71ish is probably the "hardest" time for a soloing assassin (guaratneed, it's still unbelievably easy). By the time you get 71 you'll be loaded up on some heal proc items, combine that with vitality poison, and stun poison, as well as frontload, and you'll sail through levels. It is never hard to solo an assassin. However, if you want to solo some heroic mobs...I won't say that it'll get harder, it'll just take a *lot* longer to kite them around since you only have two non-positional ranged attacks.

I think one thing that needs to be mentioned, is that soloing a single mob is not the issue. Any single target we can unload on using long reuse timer skills, and have a fairly high probabilty of success. The problem is that once these skills are used we have problems with those 2nd and 3rd mobs. The other point is that while we wait for our long reuse times to cycle, our burst damage capabilities are significantly reduced. You have to remember that our damage output is highly positional/conditional in nature. This means that when soloing we also need to be aware of our timing and use of stuns and stealth much more than other classes, and at times use our connection's latency to allow us to register in the rear and flanking arcs. Put all these factors together and you find that indeed assassin's are much harder to solo with than many of the other classes, and incur more down time as a result.

True, Tarmor, you do have a point there. LOL my son, who played a swashie to 75, took the reins for me the other day while I was on a raid (( he's also taken over for Melodee and my warden)). I had to laugh at his overdramatic complaints about our positional attacks. He's right though...... if we're not behind the mob we're pretty much screwed.

I find that when people are talking about zines being hard to solo -- its a reference to the difficulty encountered in killing "names." There are certain classes that can roll through named encounters -- others either can't or have enhanced difficulty. Personally I have always found it difficult to kill a named encounter solo unless it conned green. But of course I sux, so maybe thats not saying much.
