just wondering if i should plan to get a silicate for it, or if the M2 is just as good as the adept 3.. anyone that can check that?

It's within 20 or so points of damage. I wouldn't make it one of my first upgrades for sure.

Keep in mind, a 64 level spell might have a different resistability than one in the next tier. I found spending money upgrading to A3 spells and eventually M1 has really helped. YMMV though.Also keep in mind that lower level targets might not care which is used, but when you get into raids where things are 82, 84, 87... those older spells might not land as much.
