Blue Screen Whilst Patching

Hi, I am completely new to EQ2, having just purchased it on Tuesday. However, I am having trouble trying to patch it. It starts to download okay and then after about 15 mins, i get the bluescreen of death. I reboot and try again and the same thing happens constantly. I still have around 10 hours to patch. Any ideas what could be causing this ? cheers.

Having trouble with anything else?  Like other games, or maybe have downloaded a large file recently for testing purposes?Try any troubleshooting programs lately? Memtest comes to mind just in case your RAM could be going bad. (do a yahoo search, should be quite a few free ones)Also, right click My Computer, Manage, then goto Event Viewer and see if you can find a couple errors to post.
