2 accounts on same comp.

1 is up and running but the other has like an 8 hr download? what is with that? Any help please? Does each account need to update even on the same comp? Any way around it since the info is there if one account works?

for crud sake... they are on the same computer..  8 hrs and 30 min... thats not right..

Did you turn on "optional downloads" inside of preferences? That could take up a bit of time I'd say.  Did you install them to different directories, or is it the same exe?In fact just run the everquest2.exe in your eq2 folder, that will bypass the patcher and put you straight to a login page.

Easiest thing to do is make a copy of your EQ2 folder on and paste it somewhere else, create 2 shortcuts, I have EQ2 Account 1 and EQ2 account 2.Yes you need to update the files in both folder but if you have made a copy of the folder that already receieved the downloads you wont have to wait.

I dont think you need two copies to run it, minimize the original game start and fire up the other account. It only works of coarse if both accounts have access to the same expansions, which I beleive all accounts have now unless its a trial.
