I Dont know if this is the best place to post this but here goes...Is there something major going on with crushbone server around 12:30am CST? for the past few nights me and more than a couple of my EQ2mates have either experience major 2 minutes or longer lagg or complete crashes from the game. We have called our respective internet providers and each of them has said their was no interuptions (in my cause I have Pandora music genome in my background so I could tell if it was my service provider), yet this event continues to happen. It is very annoying to be in the middle of a fight and this happens only to relogg and find yourself somewhere otehr than where you were. Again is there something going on or is this a local problem?

I have tried logging in and downloading the updates directly through the game, using the "high tech" super duper SOE download assistant with built in chat so that other players on games I no longer play can bother me, and even using the eq2map updater to launch the game but I get the same result. There was some type of runtime error problem with one of the files it was downloading and trying to integrate and it stops, pauses, and retries it to fail again. I have a very limited time to even log in to chat with frienda for a few minutes before having to go to sleep for work in the moprning and do not appreciate there still being a problem at 11:53pm MST when the update was likely implemented at 7:00am MST this morning.

Why can't I finish the update and actually log in? Is the voice chat the real problem? If it is...give it up and just get a big license agreement from teamspeak or ventrilo (preferrably TS) and get us talking instead of trying to implement an inferior problem causing speech program that is about as low featured as the internet browser and has so many problems with making headest/microphone combinations work. Yes, I have a Dell laptop with built in everything that works on everything else but when it came time to make it work in EQ2, headphones work but the mini-mic does not. Why in the heck would it not work in EQ2 if it has never had a problem in any other program before? Believe me, this is not a driver issue or a Vista Ultimate issue, but a conflict issue with some poorly written script in the speech module from the patch. I am in IT and networking specifically and would be happy to be on payroll and help fix this if you need, Just drop me a line as you know how to contact e obviously as I have had an account since 2000.

The updater has been restarted in all 3 methods mentioned above several times while writing this post and I am getting the same results...information follows: cannot even log into remote guild chat despite paying the extra money to be able to do so. Problem with .exe file at point of starting the game after downloading the update...GUIYS AT SOE IT IS TIME TO DO A COMPLETE ROLL BACK LIKE HAD TO BE DONE FOR EQ! A FEW TIMES. I am sure that a big sign of a problem existing would be the lack of the normal player load because players like me are stuck out of game and even guild chat. Well, I must sleep now for work, you know, pay the bills so I can spend money on service that I don't get. If my company dropped the ball like this, there would at least be apologies in the mail, refunds, 4 times exp weekend or something to make up for this farce. I cannot believe this having tried for hours to make this work to learn that there are no answers out and this has been an issue ongoing all day.
