Hey guys,

I have been playing eq2 for a few month now on us server called everfrost. i am really enjoying the game but raiding time are to late for me since i live in europe. So i figured i would make a character on a euro server.

I bought the game as a digital dl from soe. And at the first page with the rules where i am sposed to get a option for chosing the euro or us version, there is nothing there. So i cant chose anything but us version. When i try to create a character there it dosent show my any of the euro servers.

Why is it that i dont get a optiong for chosing a euro server? I aksed a ingame freind and he explained me where i am sposed to change from us to euro server in the first page with rules, but i dont have any option there.

also is it possible to f ex transfer a level 80 character from everfrost us server to runningeye euro server?

Ty for your time and apresiate the help.

Xues

He/She doesn't have that option.Try adding to your windows shortcut: /env:usmain /lang:en_EU
i.e. the whole shortcut would read: "C:Program FilesSonyEverQuest IIEQ2.exe" /env:eumain /lang:en_EU

I know that something in reverse works for me (EU copy of the game but play US).

As for transferring, very possible. see http://eq2players.station.sony.com and click the Character Services option then Character Transfer.

I am having the same issue. I cannot make the change from the EULA page... the above mentioned suggestion did not work for me for some reason. It was not a recognized file path. (basically file and/or pathname invalid )

Any other suggestions would be more than greatful!

If you are using the Station Launcher, you will need to click on OPTIONS and then languages. The Language you select is links you to the regional server.

OK I am really sorry... I do not see any buttons on my EULA section other than accept or decline. Once I click accept I am on the login screen and I have four options - other than login... new account, parental controls, support, and serch knowledge base.

Upon logging in, I have choices as follows:

My account, support, preferences, update notes, station players, adventure packs, expansion packs. if I go to preferences, there is agame options button, but this does not offer any language choices. I appreciate your help in this! I am sorry if I am missing something obvious!!

Thank you again!

Please see my post above. You are using the Station Launcher, not the launchpad.

If you see that mentioned anywhere then you're using a version of the trial client and will need to use the full version linked in Xues' post here.

I would save it and then run it to install. It will not install over the launchpad as it is a seperate program.

Thanks again for all the assistance! I have downloaded it and now I am getting the option for the EU region... Now, however, when it reads the files, it is repeatedly making me download the Everquest2.exe file over and over again. I apologize for all the postings, but for some reason this isnt working to be as straightforward as I thought it would be!

Please ignore this! Finally got it up and running! Thank you for all your help everyone!
