<p>Quick and hopefully easy question to the floor. </p><p>Given that our staple is to kite people, I'm having extreme issues actually achieving this. Every other class appears to have something that increases their ability to be able to run faster than me - including when I snare.</p><p>What's the runspeeds, in and out of combat that other lvl 80 troubs are seeing? -- self buffed.</p><p> To give a little more context, I'm sitting at 61% with J-Boots and the AA line, I have spare Vodka's in my claim, and droag swills...but over time these are gonna get pwnt.</p><p>Any thoughts ;D</p>

Man up and kill stuff the old fashioned way?The only thing I ever kited was the occasional yellow up arrow named.  If it didn't have an up arrow, smashing it in the mouth seemed to be much faster than kiting it.

<p>OK - I realise I maybe wasnt too specific in what I'd written. The second poster was correct, I'm referring to PvP.</p><p>Additionally whereas I understand that there is a fundamental difference in runspeeds between in, and out of combat I was trying to get the opinion of other troubs, and what they're doing to work around this.</p><p>...meh forget it guys.</p>

<p>OK - I thought I'd post back the run speeds I'm getting now, maybe other troubs will find this helpful. Even though I levelled my troub up through to 80, I'm still comparatively new to the game (only playing for 8months) -- so I'm missing all that knowledge alot of you guys have inherently on in-game items <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></p><p>This is probably of more specific interest to those on PvP servers, whereby kiting around groups I find really helps before you engage :</p><p> - +46% Selo's  - +10% Jboots (+10%) - +5%   Racial +Runspeed (Arasai) - +10% Band of Pure Panic  (Funky run motion when it procs! <img src="/smilies/283a16da79f3aa23fe1025c96295f04f.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> )</p><p>So - I'm presently sitting at 71% sustainable runspeed (sustainable, as in I am not using Droag Swill, or Vodka's to crank it up to 100%). Once I can get my hands on Marrow's Song, that'll push me to 81%, and put another 10% on the in-combat.</p><p>Any other items out there we're missing?</p>

8% From Blood Iron Set if equipped when you cast Selo's, and recast every time you zone...

Only PvP'ers care about run speed that much.  For PvE'ers its not that big a deal.  On PvE I never kite and I do just fine.

I was at Fan Faire and got a glimpse of the new AA tree as it looked on a Dirge.Apparently there's a run speed improvement in the tree for both Bards. <img src="/smilies/283a16da79f3aa23fe1025c96295f04f.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />

Once I can get my hands on Marrow's Song, that'll push me to 81%, and put another 10% on the in-combat.</p><p>Any other items out there we're missing?</p></blockquote><p><span style="font-size: x-small;">honestly in pvp your constant runspeed wont make that much of a difference unless you plan to run away all the time (lots of classes run faster than 71% =,(  ) </span></p><p><span style="font-size: x-small;">its just your incombat that you want up, the aa enhancement to selo is the ONLY pvp combat run speed that you can have that will stay consistant, get 5 points into the encounter knockback spell (so it almost always procs) and make sure your using a shield with the STA line, snare, str debuff, and knock them back when they get too close</span></p><p><span style="font-size: x-small;">heres what i normally to do:   mez -> uncast/equip aria's and any other procs -> debuff -> recast aria/equip proc stuffz -> potm -> jcap -> snare -> stiffle-> cast-> cast-> cast-> cast-> cast -> mez-> repeat as desired</span> *<span style="font-size: xx-small;">results may very lol</span><span style="font-size: x-small;">*</span></p><p><span style="font-size: x-small;">unless they are a barbarian they wont catch you most of the time</span></p>
