Hey that is pretty cool.  I generally think of 3d devices to be a little gimmicky for my tastes now though. While I have no offical answer to this issue I hope some other players have given it a try!

Can't comment specifically on the monitor but I was considering one of these and decided to try out the nVidia red/blue anaglyph driver just to see how well EQ2 handled 3D support.  The results were rather less than impressive I'm sad to say.  The quality wildly varied from zone to zone and even depending on which way my camera was turned.  Inside player housing it worked fantastically but in outside zones (I ran around QH a lot) the 3D effect just switched on and off depending where I was and which way I was looking.  I also found a lot of textures and geometry just disappeared from the screen as well.  The 3D separation didn't scale very well as separating the views enough to get a good 3D effect from the geometry caused the UI (hotbars etc.) to appear to be floating miles above the screen. On the plus side the performance didn't seem to take that much of a hit despite the fact that it was effectively rendering every frame twice, once for each eye. From my own point of view I'd probably not spend a large amount on a 3d monitor.  It was a fun novelty playing in 3d for a while but it added much less depth and involvement than I expected and ended up just a fun gimmick to try out for an hour or two.
