Bug with Thundering Steppes Creature Catalog?

<p>I have spawned and helped 10+ distressed merchants in the Thundering Steppes, and NONE of the gratified merchants sell anything, let alone the Thundering Steppes Creature Catalog.  All the information I can find says that the gratified merchants is the only place to get the Thundering Ssteppes Creature Catalog Quest.</p><p>Is the TS creature catalog bugged, or am I missing something?</p>

There is no TS creature catalog tome.  <a href="http://eq2.wikia.com/wiki/Creature_Cataloging_Timeline" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">http://eq2.wikia.com/wiki/Creature_...loging_Timeline</a> for a list of the ones that are known.

No, some of the TS merchants sell the TS creature catalog, as well as I think Creatures of the Mighty.  It's just luck of the draw, though, whether you get a merchant who's willing to buy to you or willing to sell to you.  Keep rescuing them, I guess....But if you want the easy route, just go to Kelethin and buy the book.  The Sage there sells it.

I managed to buy the Steppes catalog and Creatures of the Creators books of a Gratified Merchant at the Undead Farmers / Settlers at the beginning of TS with my alt 2 days ago (03 aug) and I was also able to start the quests. So they are there.
