Game just bugged on me MASSIVELY - ed: fixed

Char name: CielforhServer: Antonia BayleI went to someone's house in South Qeynos to buy a shield for my character.  I found the sales crate it was in, double clicked it, the 3g50s was taken from my cash so I closed the crate with esc and opened my bags and it wasn't in there.  I went back to the sales crate and the shield was still there so I clicked it again.  It took my money again but gave me no shield.  I tried a few more times by clicking the "buy" button and other ways.  By now I'm down 12 or 15 gold and I still don't have it...I try to leave the house and it wont let me.  It says I have a consignment in progress or whatever that message is.  I wander around the house thinking the server just needs to update (and hoping I get my 12g back).  About 5 minutes later I get fed up, try to /petition, but I can't figure out how it even works and so I /camp out.  When I got back to the character select screen <b>my character was gone</b>.  I quit the game completely, he wasn't even in the quick start, drop down box as a listed character.It's been about 15 minutes now and he still doesn't exist.  I'm trying a full file scan, since that seems to be everyone's fix-all for every problem in the game.  I don't know what else to do.  I guess I'll just wait to hear something here, or hopefully it will right itself over time...  If not I'm going to be quite disappointed, as an understatement.EDIT:  Well Ciel came back after about a half hour.  Unfortunately I'm still out the 12 or so gold I dropped trying to buy the shield.  I guess I'm just gonna write that off, fortunate that at least I still exist. <img src="/eq2/images/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />
