View Full Version : Sinister strike + Fatal Follow up "Fix"... Was it broken?

<p>July 31 update:</p><p>            Fatal Followup should no longer be useable after Sinister Strike. </p><p>does this mean that damage from SS was being included in the final dmg output of FF?  ROFL, dumbasess at soe not paying attention at what a backstab is and isn't?</p><p>"Well, he's technically standing behind the mob and he's using a weapon and poking the mob with it... could be construed as "stabbing"...  let's see; behind the mob and stabbing motion...  Yup!  makes sense!"</p><p>This is why you don't don't use interns to develop your flagship software.  You guys did it with EQ1 and now (as is appearant by the quality err excuse me Kwaluhhtee of the content brought out as of late.</p><p>we need more p!ss screen quests. that's the best!</p>

<p>Like it would have been hard to test.Ok a CA that can only be used after a stealth backstab. Ok lets try each stelth backstab, ok those work. Now lets try the non stealth backstabs....wait a second one of these works, should fix that.</p><p>Honestly you have to wait 10-12 seconds before trying a different CA, concidering the assassin class has maybe 30 at most. Not exactly hard to do. Even though this was not even a nerf it was just a fix to something it still never should have made it into the game. It was such a painfully obvious bug and so easy to test.</p>

Its stealthed attacks, not backstab.  so your 2 AOE's and then 5 other attacks can be used.How many do you guys get in for fatal followup?  What is your usual casting order?ohh and hey Luinne <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />

Debuff,concealment,cripple to get it going, all backstabs and Fatal followup. Does some good damage.

Standard procedure. I use masked attack but the concept is the same
