Client crashes after hitting ' PLAY' button

<p>Can anyone help me pls?</p><p>i just downloaded new patch and now as soon as i hit the play button, the small box comes up for about</p><p>5 secs saying launching game then just closes all EQ2 apps.</p><p>I have reset my modem and it still does the same thing</p><p>pls help anyone <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></p>

Sometimes after a patch, you may need to remove your firewall exceptions and then re add them....   have you tried that by any chance?

I would test to see if I am having the same issue, but the free time is over now and I never got in once during that time.  So there you go.
