download canceled everytime..

<p>Everytime i log into the launcher and get to the update screen it says scanning files then gets to 100% and says</p><p>Downloading such and such file</p><p>estimated time remaining...</p><p>then just sits there and does nothing then it says Download canceled" i followed the steps i got on the support station site which are</p><p>even after i did that it still does the same thing.... i used live chat eariler and the guy pretty much told me the same thing and when it didnt work he just said its a problem with my firewall but i connect to the internet directly not with a router and my norton and computer fire walls are off...i also use windows vista can anyone help me with my problem?</p>

Sometimes a turned off firewall may still be trying to protect you.  It is always better to add the necessary files to the exception list then to turn a firewall off (for your safety as well)

nope its allowed though norton and windows firewall anyone else have any ideas?
