Why am I repatching every time I use the Launcher?

<p>Every time I try to access game since patch, I'm having to sit through patch again.  THis time, however, instead of 14 minutes estimated time, I'm looking at over an hour estimated time.</p><p>What the heck is going on?</p>

Which OS are you using?If you have Vista, you may need to set it to run as admin again as the Eq2.exe has checked.1. Right click on the program launch icon2. Left click on "Properties".3. In the new window that pops up click on the "Compatibility" tab.4. In the "Compatibility Mode" area check the box next to "Run this program in compatibility mode for:"5. In the drop down list make certain that "Windows XP (Service Pack 2)" is selected.6. Under "Privilege Level" make certain that the box next to "Run this program as administrator" is checked.7. Click on "Apply" then click on "Ok".8. Double click on the program launch icon.<p>This should allow you to run your program under Windows Vista.</p>

<p>I have these problems now and then too, but happening both on Windows XP as Windows Vista.</p><p>I discovered that this had to do with the EU patch Server (in my case).</p><p>I just switched region to US, patch my client and then close it.</p><p>Then rerun client, set region back to EU and problem was solved.</p><p>Jer</p>
