What is the lowest level raid? And do people really do these raids? Or are most of them on the higher level ones.

There are raid instances and contested raid mobs from T2 up. EQ2i has a nice timeline of raid targets available. Many times you will see people organizing a pick-up raid for the contested mobs in level chat. If you see one of these mosb up and are itchin' to see what he has in his loot table, organize a raid yourself! When you examine the foe, by the name there is a red shield with gold crowns on it. The number of crowns tells you how many groups you need to tackle that enemy. When putting together a raid, you need a Main Tank group, which should ideally have a tank, a druid, a cleric, and a shaman, plus a druid or coercer or illusionist if you can get them (for the buffs). The other groups are your DPS, and need one healer plus any buff classes that will help them. When I'm organizing a x4 raid, this is what I generally look for:Group 1MTClericShamanDruidDirge or CoercerMelee DPS (Hate Transfer)
Group 2OTDirgeCleric/DruidShamanMelee DPSMelee DPS

Group 3HealerDirge or IllusionistMelee DPSMelee DPSMelee DPSMelee DPS

Group 4FuryTroubadorIllusionistMage DPSMage DPSMage DPS
What I have just described is a "perfect world" scenario. You can successfully manage a raid with a less than "perfect" set up too, just place your players to the best advantage. And you will find that top end raid guilds may use fewer healers in favor of more DPS, and may have much more specific requirements for the personnel they need on a specific raid.
