I wanted to /log some chat in game and came across a problem when I went to look it up. There's no log folder under Program Files/Sony/Everquest2. I've never moved the folder or deleted it, it's just not there. I've tried to /log on different characters in-game and it still doesnt create or show the folder. Any help resolving this issue would be really appreciated.

Thanks

I have a "logs" folder under that directory path. Inside the "logs" folder there's an additional folder, which has the name of the server. I'd suggest creating a "logs" folder for yourself and then switching logging back on in-game and see if you get results.

If you have Vista make sure that you have UAC turned off or you can try the following as well1. Run the Task Scheduler. (Windows Key, type task scheduler and hit enter)2. In the left window pane make sure "Task Scheduler Library" is selected.3. in the Actions pane, click "create task."4. In the general tab, in the name field type EQ25. Make sure the "Run with highest privileges" box is checked.6. Go to the Actions tab and click the "New..." button.7. In the "Program/script:" field, use the browse button to locate and select the EQ2.exe file8. In the "Start in (optional):" field type in the full path to your EverQuest 2 folder. For example: c:program filessonyEverQuest II9. Click OK when you are finished and then close the Task Scheduler.10. Right Click on your desktop and select New>Shortcut11. In the "Type the location of the item:" field enter the following line schtasks /run /tn "EQ2"12. Click Next and enter EQ2 in the name field then click finish.
Once you do that you can go to the properties of your new shortcut and change the icon by clicking the "change Icon..." button and pointing to the EQ2.ico file in your Everquest 2 directory.

Now just use your new shortcut to run the game.
