Having finally hit 70, I'm chewing on my respec.I'll be going 4488 Sta,all the way down Wis (loves me some stance mastery). I'm undecided about what to do with the rest of the points. Crits sure are pretty and all that, but it's pretty hard to argue with haste. Typically I'm tanking for a 4-man group, a fury, inq, and a warlock (man, I hate warlocks...). I get some haste from the fury, and occassionally from the inq, a whopping 10 from my cloak, and whatever I get from engulfing rage.Thoughts? Thanks!

1)DA, 2)crit, 3)DPS, 4)haste

I am currently lvl 78 and have reset my aa's in full strgth, full stam, and 4,4,4, & 5 intel. So far it has helped me in holding aggro better than my previous spec at full intel, full stam, and 4,4, & 8 strgth which I keep as a solo line for my aa mirror. For me crits are better than haste. Haste is a great stat to have no doubt, but crits affect both auto attack and combat arts. For me the stregth line is a must for my zerker and is #1 in my book.

Another thing to remember is that haste is one of the easiest stats to attain with proper group setting and nice higher end equipment. Hardest stats to get are crits, double attack, and dps mods. Very few classes actually buff these stats to the lvls that haste can be attained at. There are lots of nice ROK equipment pieces that have these stats but again for me a nice balance of crits to double attack is nice to have. I cannot answer for all zerkers but most lvl 80's are capped on haste in most group and raid instances. The only stat that is harders to get capped unless you are the focal point of the group or raid would be dps mod and double attack.

The strgth line has helped my zerker at holding aggro longer with not as much loss, but it still happens. Regaining lost aggro is a zerkers bane currently. However with a coercer and swashie in my group I seem to do very well in all heroic instances. I try to do my best at focusing on keeping aggro. Dps does help to hold it and the extra hate from the strgth line does help as well. I am still experimenting with this line and so far it is slightly better than what I have been using.

In some raid zones the faster "more haste" you have the more health or power you will loose when the mob is damged due to a type of damage shield. So haste is great in everyday norrath but on some raid mobs it will kick below the belt fast and hard! Hitting less often but doing more damage when you hit really is a better solution to this type of encounter hence Crits and dps mods. I would rather hit for 1200 crit on one hit in one second than hit for six times for 200 in five seconds.

Honestly use the search option in this forum and find all you can. Even some of the old stuff is great info from Kemt, Skel, Lyger and all the other great zerks that have posted over the years.

I am sure Lyger will give better insight to your questions here soon. I hope that I have helped some.

Thanks
