A group alone

Ok, heres the story. Im a warlock in a raiding guild, and as of late he have been having... issues with attendance. That being said, lastnight we were in wing1 vp and because I'm not a wizzy I got placed in group four by myself for most of the eve. In the middle they gave me a  boxed defiler who had a macro set up to heal the OT. At the end of the run I ended up parsing 2220 for a zone wide. My question is, is that horrible for being alone? Im missin 6 masters total and my gear is ok I guess. I wasnt able to wear the choker and needed power proc gear on. So if any of you could be so kinda as to let me know ( and be brutally honest) it would be greatly apperciated. Thank you for your time.

Not sure I follow ... you were 3 grouping the first wing of VP ... and since you don't attend a lot of raids they put you into a group by yourself since they had one extra person?  Were they just testing to see how you could perform at the baseline, without support, in a T8 raid?  Without a Troubador or Illusionist, and without certain masters, and being forced to wear regen gear instead of crit and casting gear ... well ... I guess 2200 would be what you could expect.  It sounds to me like they were testing you.  Are you new to the guild?

Thank you for your time.</blockquote><span style="color: #00ccff;"><span style="color: #00ccff;">I hope that is how it was suppose to be... so if I read that right, the OP attends raids, the rest of the guild is slacking, therefore got put into a group alone.</span>  My own view on this is you got no help with DPS via illus/troub, so if anyone had an issue with your dps too bad.</span>

You did perfectly fine.If anyone in your guild complained about your damage, I would suggest they look at actually putting you into a proper group with proper buffs before raising expectations for increased damage.
