View Full Version : Would not have an effect messages

Hi, I've a fairly new and shiny troubador (level 27) that I'm trying out and have a few questions that I'm hoping you can help me with.  This is one of them ... Not a big deal, but if you know the answer to this I'd appreciate your lifting my viel of confusion.  While fighting a mobs I keep getting a "Would not have an effect" message but for the life of me I don't know what it is that won't have an effect.  Anyone have any ideas?On my Brigand I also get a lot of these, but have written those off as being related to the "and decrease ..." type effects on the attacks in question.I don't have those sort of attacks on the Troub, and I'm getting the message on debuffs (the decrease AGI & STR one) as well as the damage attacks.  The only proc type thinmgs I have are adornments on my 1 hander weapons that decrease mob power & increas emy own, but I cannot figure why those would not have an effect when the mobs have plenty of health and plenty of power.  Most (and maybe all) times that I see this is on the completion of a Herioc Opportunity.  Is it somehow related to a HO effect of which I am unaware?I've a few Achievement Points, which are in the STA and AGI lines so shouldn't be the cause as far as I can see.
