I just started as a Dwarf Guardian. I was wondering where I should place my achivement points and also what traits I should choose.

This is the spec I tell any guardian who takes the time to chat with me, and they all tell me they love it after they test it...

The Warrior tree...

Str 4/4/8/5

Agi 4/4/8/6/2

Int 4/4/6/8/2

Then in Guardian tree its more complicated:

Intercede (3), Sentry (3), moderate (4), Rescue (5), Reinforcement (5), Infraction (5), mar (5), Trespass (3), Sever (5), Compression (5), Exact Strike (5), Double Attack (1), Decimate (5), Buffet (3), Plant (3), Stone Sphere (2), Unyielding Will (2), Tower of Stone (5)

... 1 more point somewhere, I will pick a spot when I get it (I only have 139 aa so far)

Then when the mobs are not particularly nasty you dual wield... YES, dual wield as a guardian... with the agi and int lines you have fine avoidance, close to that of a buckler, without burning 24AA for max buckler skills. Just hotkey some tower shields near your ToS button. Use the shields when you need ToS AND when you just need a shield. Dual wielding is 100% DA... AND more, because you can get DA with your primary weapon also... so it is way more dps than buckler spec, so far better agro than buckler spec.... and lets you get both dragoons and slayer lines maxed... the 12% reuse speed rules, and dragoons is awsome for when the healers get behind the curve, or if you are soloing etc etc.

Before I got my mythical I used this set up for a very very long time, I was dual wield tanking RE2 (except slamhammer and epic, where I used a shield)...

try it out, and thank me later =)

(oh, and for traits... get the +max hps, and +agility when you can)

Solkarr
