Directx error

I have reinstalled directx but i still get the error (D3DERR_OUTOFVIDEOMEMORY)I have a 256 mb 6200 geforce and 1 gig of ram i dont see how i could be out of video memory when i used to play on a 5200 with less problems

What zone are you in when this happens?Have you tried the low memory use age of typing "/force_low_mem_mode 1" into chat?(/force_low_mem_mode 0 will turn off this function)
