THIS IS JUST LAUGHABLE. HOW MANY THREADS, HOW MANY COMMENTS, HOW MANY FIX'S PROPOSED BY THE BRUISER COMMUNITY? Chit loads...too many to freakin count!

HOW MANY RESPONSES FROM THE DEVS? 0

Get off the babysitters and answer our freaken questions. I can't stand to see anymore threads on this knowing it is falling on the deaf, dumb and blind devs!

Maybe they will answer me saying the usual B.S........."with the bad attitude like that, why would we respond?"

Well what about the monster amounts of other threads and posts that are very respectuful to you? Can you at least aknowledge the Bruiser community is (trying to) communicating with you?

If your not going to fix us, just say "screw off", otherwise, freakin do something and/or let us know what you are thinking. We pay your dang salaries. Do something!

Dude the devs don't have time to sit and read forums. They have programing to do so calm down. That is not how it works anyway. The Bruiser community has a few influencers that have contacts with the devs. Ideas have to work there way up a chain and then come back to us so we don't get to see very much. Bruisers -> Bruiser Community Rep -> Developer -> Bruiser Rep -> BruisersIf you listen to the Bruiser rep there is something being worked on.

I've only just started checking these forums out again, so can someone supply a link with this supposed change. If one even exists and isn't just pure speculation.

Devs do and should repy to posts once in a while. There are devs that read each and every post. Once in a blue moon they respond. To date, nothing here. Thazz me point. And it is valid.

Developers usually don't respond to these types of things directly, but they should be reading them occasionally. Any responses would probably come from a designated spokes person whose job it is to interface between the users and the developers to try and develop an overall better gaming experience. Unfortunately the only responses you ever see usually come in the form of a game update post, so do not expect to get a response.

So all this complaining that we are doing here won't do a bit of good in my opinion. Most of these problems have even existed pre-ROK except for the epic issue which they created. SOE has been known for this since EQ1 days though, so don't expect any changes.

From what I heard Mythic was really good about user feedback but the only problem it caused was that things were altered often in order to try and achieve balance, but naturally some people would get [Removed for Content] off if their class was no longer the end all be all class. If I don't see any changes I will probably switch to Warhammer or drop out of the MORPG world by the end of the year. And re-rolling a new character to go by what SOE thinks is their flavor for the expansion is not my idea of a solution.

Im still curious as to where this new raid-wide talk has stemmed from. God knows you need it, but still.

When is the next expansion suppose to come out anyway? It would be nice if they added a new AA line that would allow you to specialize in tanking or damage output for the fighter class, but unfortunatelly Guards and other plate tanks would get the same benefits as well so it would put us right back where we started. They can fix some problems but I think any changes would be brawler and not bruiser specific first, just due to the whining that would occur on the monk end. I will take whatever I can get and I am curious to see what the actual change is to our epic with the dps proc.

My concern with this game in EQII is this whole equality between to sub classes. Weather it be the two warriors, two rogues, two brawlers, ect. There should be factors that separate these sub classes so that an individual can determine what type of class they wish to pursue. If both sub classes dps and tank equally but just do it through different styles but in the end the result is the same then what good is it to have two sub classes?

Honestly, shouldn't a guardian be a more defensive tank and a zerker a more offensive tank? Should both be able to tank every encounter, dps, and be able to have the same armor in the name of equality?

Honestly shouldn't fighters to be know for specifics. Maybe one can take more damage, the other hold aggro better, or be better dps but not all six fighter being equal in tanking and dps.

If a bruiser has a problem becuase monks are getting attention then bruisers shouldn't start calling for a nerf. If bruisers are actually doing some nice parses then scouts don't need to start yelling nerf. There are far to many players calling to nerf other classes simply because a particular class is excelling in a certain department.

I can see players being concerned when a fighter can excell in tanking, dps, utility and do a wonderful job in all three catagories. That can pose a problem I am sure, but again certain classes should be known for something that allows them to have some individuality and not have to share that title with others. Having six fighters cause a problem with finding this individuality.

Just my opinions.

Thanks

I had never seen a response from the concerns voiced here. That concerned me. Crabby showed me that they have made a sticky of Bruiser Concerns. I am over it. I hope you are too.

I gathered as many red names as I could find for a little comparison between the Bruiser and Guardian boards. I percieve Bruisers and SK's are sharing the title of the least attended to tanking class (although I find Bruisers to have less place in Norrath than SKs), and Guardians as the most loved (by the devs) tanking class. The dev names I could find where Autenil, Rothgar, Gallenite (all current). I also found Moorgard and Blackguard (no longer with us). I found one Producer named Kirstie. I found four admins named Grimwell, Kiara, Amnerys and Gnobrin. These were the Dev results of searches of both Bruiser and Guardian boards for Autenil, Rothgar and Gallenite. All searches had to be done invididually. I searched by specifying their most recent posts at the top. The late Dev Moorgard had similar search results in both Bruiser and Guardian forums. The late Dev Blackguard also had similar search results in both forums. Administrator Kiara had these results in the Guardian boards, but it turns out this was just a player name from long ago, not the Red name of today. The real Kiara had 1 result in the Bruiser boards. Administrator Gnobrin in the Guardian forums. Administrator Gnobrin in the Bruiser forums. Administrators Amnerys & Grimwell and Producer Kirstie in both the Bruiser and Guardian forums. Based on this, I would have to conclude there's little to no player communication from nonMods that are currently employed by SOE. So, I couldnt conclude there's favoritism at play here, just a general lack of communication. EDIT: As a side note, I did one more search for Code-Signer Aeralik. He has no post in Bruiser or Guardian boards, but he does in the Asssassin boards. I'm told that's his class.

1. Gallenite is no longer producer for EQ2 or with SOE; definatley not current info.2. the *guards where community managers not Devs...3. Kiara is the same Kiara but now a community manager too, not a devI see your point your making though, but it means little.

I made distinctions between devs, admins and producers. I listed them all because I wanted to show what kind of response noteworthy personelle publish in the bruiser forums. For the devs specificly, the dated information illustrates that there used to be greater involvement than today.
