<p>Don't complain about it. If you turned it off, you'd miss out on the funny DYK's.</p><p>"Did you know...</p><p>That Frogloks, contrary to popular belief, do NOT taste like Chicken."</p>

Some folks find these things nice/cute/witty/whatever some folks don't agree with that point. ME personally I would probably turn them off after about a week of seeing it. Nice for someone who is geniunly new to the game, not so nice for anyone that actually has played this game for a while.

I know of an UI, where you can turn them on / off: The famous ProfitUI Reborn by gm9. I just does not save between game sessions. <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />

I just figured that most people would ignore them after a short while that's why I have them turned off by default (sorry Rothgar :p).

I use profit but I am going to have to turn them on. I would rather read something for the 50th time when zoning then stare at the same picture for the 10,0000th time. But I have always liked to read unlike a lot of people. I also dont think that I know "everything" about everything in the game so I always look for new info too. </p><p>I may know 99 percent of everything about playing a warden but I will always be looking for that last 1 percent is a good example and there is always the stuff I have forgotten since I started playing in Dec of 04 after a USN Persion Gulf cruise ended my EQ1 playing. </p>

Speaking of disabling anoying stuff, can we do something about "new skill aquired" messages that pop up when you switch AA profiles. I have to listen to "dings" of new spells being added for 5 minutes every time I use AA mirror.

Simply /camp select and when you log back it, it'll be done.
