Hi there I play on nagafen and have a good 22 aa's on my 16 troubador. If I exile from FP and go back I can choose to become a dirge right? Will it keep all my aa's also?

If PvP is identical to PvE there, which I'm assuming that it is, "yes" is the answer to both questions

Yep you can choose either class when you're done with betrayal even if going back to the same town. You wont lose the AA points you earned but the trees will be reset so you'll have to make your choices all over again when you're finally a dirge.

I've done betrayl on pvp several times. Basically when you speak to the class trainer you get the option of being troub or dirge, all cas and spells are set to app1 regardless of choice. AAs racial traditions and such also get a free reset.

Though why anyone would want to swap troubbie for dirge on pvp is a mystery, unless you have a solid set melee heavy group waiting for you. I'm guessing you may need to adjust your gear a bit too, as dirges need decent str, where troubbie is all about int in pvp.

Im biased for my PvE troub, but I was also in the understanding that PVP troubs > PvP dirge.

However dont let that hold you back, do what makes the game fun for you!

Yeah....all spells/CAs are reset to app1 pre 50....post 50 you just lose em even if you for some reason betrayed from a troub to a troub and were just changing alignment. (PVE anyway. I suppose it could be different on PVP, but don't see why that would be different)

You will keep anything that is a class CA/spell, you'll lose anything that is a subclass spell.

At least that's what happened with my Warden -> Fury and Defiler -> Mystic betrayals.

Troubabors definately have the best of it for solo pvp.

I prefer dirge nice features that a troub has but i perosnally love the dige better at reverse kiting on a pvp server which hardly no bards do on either servers.

And i totally disagree with the above poster. It realy depends on what classes yer going against and how you play yer bard plus the knowledge of knowing what you can do and what you cannot do on a solo run.
