Nek Castle Basement Stairs

Am i missing something?  Im working on the war and wardrobe HQ and cant for the life of me find the Nek Castle stairs to get to the basement to get the note.  Im lost - any help or loc of the stairs would be great!  I have the loc of the note but doesnt help me much when im stuck upstairs <img src="/smilies/69934afc394145350659cd7add244ca9.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />  Thanks!

There are two sets of stairs in Nek Castle:  The first is in the hallway by the game room, and activatable via a candelabra on the wall.  This stairway takes you to the 2nd floor.  The 2nd stairway is actually in Everling's bed chamber, behind the book cases.  You have to do the Lockets quest to unlock the doors which allow you to use those stairs.  That quest starts in the chapel, if memory serves.

Hi,you need to go to the basement leading to Lord Everling. You need to finish access quests or to have a group member that finished access quests for thi zone.You will find your update (a harvestable Empty Crate Note) on some crates at ( -41, -13, -57 ).Good luck,

<p>The Everling Lockets.</p><p>Once you have done it, you can come and go as you like, forever (inside the castle that is).</p><p>To begin, find the Chapel and speak with Alexa, or if she is not there, eliminate whoever is there until she arrives.</p>
