Erudites are not as i can tell very popular, and i like that, but has anyone got an Erudite rogue? i know the stats don't matter very much but it does seem they are not built for melee. which appeals to me, i like a challenge.

<p>I'm actually playing a new erudite bruiser alt as I'm taking a break from my brigand.  Like you, I'm not playing a traditional class choice for an erudite.  Yet desipte this, I'm really enjoying the combination.</p><p>As I've always understood it, poisons count as spell effects.  (Don't hold me on this one.)  If that's correct, then their racial spell crit ability can see some use.  </p><p>Also their mana increase / casting speed increase option would only further improve the the casting speed of a player who's finished the Agility line.  The small damage shield ward isn't a horrible ability either.  And their group encounter targeting AE is also a nice touch to classes not built around AE attacks.</p><p>In the end, I'm happy with my usual bruiser.  If an erudite brigand sounds fun to you, then why not play it?</p>

Honestly, unless you have big expectations for your char (beeing as good as a raider as you can) your race won't really matter...actualy some races concidered less powerfull may even be a bit more enjoyable because they'll have a few unusual abilities<img src="/eq2/images/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" width="15" height="15" />

I'm not sure what the Pacify meant.  I was personally guessing that he was refering to human's temporary racial buff that decreases their aggro range.

And there is enough room in the big room if you really need to kite something to kill it.
