My raid alliance has just started clearing PR and I notice that a couple of nice swords drop in there.Currently I have Carotidcutter, but was wondering if Segmented Serrator or Betrayal's Song would be better and why?Segmented Serrator (Protector's Realm- Doomcoil) lootdbBetrayal's Song (Protector's Realm- Adkar Vyx) lootdbCarotidcutter (Crypt of Agony- Fallen Emperor Vekin) lootdb

Well, Carrotidcutter is a nice weapon but the Damage Rating is fairly week and the proc on it is completely junk. The Segemented Serrator has no bonuses ( + DA + Crit ) but it hits like a mac truck. The Betrayal's Song is a nice weapon. Good Damage Raiting with a good proc and nice 3DA bonus. So yeah IMO Go with Epic and Betrayals Song/Segmented Serrator.

Just someone give me the Empowered Talon please.

I currently have the Segmented Serrator to go with my epic and am quite happy with it.

In that list, SS would probably be the best due to its damage rating and damage spread.CarotidCutter's damage spread is too narrow to compete.Witchdoctor is pretty nice too if you can get it.There is a nice 4.0 s dropping from the sisters in SOH too.

Thanks for the replys guys. The only problem now is the raid leader always wants me to take my Monk too PR and not my Swashy, even though my Swashy topped the zonwide by a considerable margin last time we went into SoH. Mind you the Assasin had to leave early.

Well, maybe they will let you roll on the Serrator as your swashy if you do not roll for your monk.

I did actualy get to take my swashy into PR the other day. Neither of the Swords dropped but I did win the Mirrored Armguards.

I love Serrator, it hits as hard as anything else below T4 and looks *really* cool. However, i'm of the opinion that having matching damage types is a good idea, so I use Throatripper from Kor-Sha along with the fabled epic. In your position, i'd definitely be using Serrator and Carotidcutter, but i'd be looking to upgrade Carotid too.

I do have my epic, so it's a case of what I replace Carotidcutter with.Bollocks, both swords dropped last night and I didn't win either. They went to the two Brigands. But I did get second on the parse behind the Assasin.
