You are farming overland named and want high drop rates? Not going to happen. This change was to allow for 71-74 masters to drop in CoA/CoK/Chels/Voes/MC/Seb/Chardok

Also lets not forget that many of the named, especally the Solo named in Kunark are Quest MoBs, and therefor have their drop rate set to be similar to non-named mobs, in the same area.

Wardens can farm the same way fury's wizards, coercers, ect do. We just have a much higher death rate since, with our substandard DPS for a druid (as in a lot less then a dps specced fury), we have a tendancy to get adds respawning on us and killing us and making us start over.

Dont overlook things like charm aa's if your class has them.

Sure, I may die 10 to 20 times for every named I kill to get a wood box or xmute item but I CAN do it and someday I will get warden masters I need or other masters that I dont feel obligated to give to my wife with her 3 lvl 80 toons, guildies or close friends and will get enough plat to buy a warden master or 2 off the broker, lol.

But sitting at 80/140/400 for over 6 months having 50 percent xp debt doesnt bother me (I go weeks at a time that way sometimes, lol) while it may bother someone just leveling up and I can farm in JW while I harvest to get enough trash drops to pay my repair bills if I get under a plat. I also make my own potions for power/stat boost too, plus totems for invis, ect IF I dont get lazy and buy them instead of logging in my lvl 80 WW alt to make them.

There exists a Mystic capable of solo farming Chelsith/instance/contested dungeon names?

I'd like to know what necros are soloing any kunark instances. Chances are there is a named or two in one instance somewhere that a necro can solo, but I dont know them. In the days of EoF, we could solo some KoS content and very little EoF content, but nothing in Kunark that I'm aware of. The tank pet just cant take the beating, not even close, not even minutely close, regardless of AA configuration or pet quality. I'd like to see a mystic beat down on an even-con ^^^ non-named (notice the non here) and live to tell the tale.

Sry havent had a chance to come back to this post in a few day.. what i was trying to get across was the update stated adepts and masters if it is an over land named masters should have a less chacne of drop or droping at all imho my concern was the adept drop rate 1 out 20 is not acceptable if this change was put in properly.. now if it was a 1-50 chance for a master that wouldnt be all that bad of over land areas but the adept rate def needs to be looked at

morzerk

They are not changing the drop rates. They are changing what range of spells can drop. It use to be any mob 75+ could only drop spells 75+. Now they can drop 71+.

That still says nothing about them upping the drop rate simply that they are changing it so that an 80 mb has a chance to drop a master or adept 1 from 71 to 80

jjlo69 has a point. The notes state that all named in Kunark now drop Master spells - not just the heroic ones.

You read potatoe, I read Potatou

Those single ^ named always could drop masters at some really low rate. They still can drop masters at some really low rate.
