I been biting my tongue on this for a year now but I gotta say...female iksar walk animation is the worst animation I've ever seen rendered in a game...period. Any other users agree? They really shouldn't be trying to walk like supermodels They just need a no-frills simple walk animation.

The walk animation doesn't bother me much it's the Constant shrug of the shoulders (Iksar Female hips are wide you have to pass egges the size of a cantalope plus room for the tail to come out the back without getting in the way of the legs forcing her quadraped)
The female walk is the worst animation in the game. I always thought so. But then, it got even worse when they redid the female run, and let slip that the old female run was actually based on a GUY'S run. Then I couldn't help but laugh at the thought of guys in mo-cap trying to "sexy" walk like women. Anyways, the end result looks ridiculous and unnatural, and I hope they find it in their hearts to change it, so my characters can stop looking like prostitutes with serious back and shoulder complications when I walk at an RP event

I agree 100%. I shudder every time I have to watch my Iksar walk. It isn't sexy. It isn't attractive. It looks like her spine was shattered in three places and didn't heal right.

Well then if you hate the walk so much, then dont walk.

Funny suggestion. Just stop walking? Role-players walk just for aesthetic reasons. Not everyone is in this mad dashing hurry to get from one place to another, especially while just going through the streets and conversing. But none the less, I don't see a problem with the female walk animations on Iksar. They've always seemed alright to me.

So I guess I could rephrase my request: it sure would be nice to walk once in awhile

Like I've said, I have nor problem with the walk it fits their anatomy to sway the hips. Wide hips, tail could track more with the motion. The only issue I have are the shoulders.

Hey there,

I'm the new animator here on EQ2, I've been here for a month or so. Let me take a look at the walks when I get settled in and I'll get back to you.

Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Please look at real women walking, esp. athletic women or women in the armed services. A woman's walking style can be drasticly altered by her choice of footwear. We do not have 5" F-me pumps in the game, we should not be walking in that slow, swinging your hands way back behind your tush when you walk way. Now if you look at women who are wearing flat soled shoes, or women who (like myself) have been training to march in ranks or who wear heavy (ie steel-toed workboots) shoes, you will find much less 'swish' and heavier footfalls, even if they are walking alone and in light weight shoes.

Again thank you for look at this.

I also wouldn't mind more frillik designs and lengths (Those are the flaps hanging from the back of the female iksar's head.)

more frillik choices PLEASE! Longer! Ripped!Flowey! differnet patterns and colours! 'softskins' get WAY more choices for their hair...as an iksar the frilliks are our 'hair'. and just as in nature, the frilliks should vary. not all same the same exact shape...sizes...patterns... please oh please pleaseee? -begs- more choices!

While I do believe there is some issue with the shoulders, I think the walk animation on Female Iksar is perfectly fine. While she does not possess breasts like other races, she still walks as though she is confident in her sexuality. She sways her hips as though her tail has it all. It's very slinky and lovely.

The tails could use some mood animations as well as the frilliks on females. Half-raised when in moods are right.

When I see women walking around town they're not acting like supermodels or strutting their stuff. It would be great to have a normal walk and keep the current one for a mood command if an occasion ever arises to use it.

Men have a walk that just says "hey, I'm walking." I think women should get that as well.To make it fair, give men a sexy walk where they're walking around doing pevlic thrusts. REALLY confident in their sexuality

It would be nice to have a new walk. Like different races can have different walks. Yes that would be nice to have different frilliks.
