Gear Help!

<p>Hello,</p><p> I am an officer of a casual guild, and we have a fairly new SK who has done quite a bit of soloing.  I play a Coercer and Swashy and know very little about the SK, only I believe they cast both spells and CA's?  That's the issue, I really don't know.</p><p> I would like to groom him to do some group tanking, and I'm looking for advice on good SK gear that can be obtained from RoK instances, or just good obtainable gear at the group level.  Anything that could be purchased off the the broker would be helpful too.  I know he has worked on getting all adept III's, is there any masters I should look out for in particular?</p><p> Any advice here would be greatly appreciated.  He's good people and I want to get him hooked up as much as I can.</p><p> Happy Hunting...</p>

<p>Your not really getting any answers here because it's a really hard question to answer, alot of it depends on play style of the SK.</p><p>In Rok content mele crit, DA are very valuable to the SK (more so because of the largely solo content), while mainting a high int and normal tank stats.  So there's a lot of swaping of gear.  It's really just scopping up the gear as it drops in instances and mixxing and matching.</p><p>Garnaks Torque, Boots of the Waste hunter, crypt spaulders (then Jarsath tribe shoulders (falbed drop from maidens), Sel'nok helm I think.  There's a symbol/book item in the Sel'Nok camp in JW that my sk always liked, I would swap it in to get a 25% boost in proc rates with a Illy/troub in your group this will shot your DPS up high.  Theres some pants that have a stone skin proc on them that can be bought off the broker ancient hardshell greeves or something like that (please if you know post what it is).  The fabled fighter cloak that drops in RE2 is wicked for all SKs, and some good crusader only armor sets in RE2 blackened alloy.</p><p> Hope that helps some.</p>

I swap that in during a fight and use it m then re-equip my bow that has a +12 dps adornment.  works like a charm.Other items you could find useful ar ethe str and agi mastercrafted rings.  very useful. especially with the above item that like the poster above me mentioned will boost procs by +25% more often.
