Level 14 Brigand Training Question

I'm not sure at this point whether to pick between Backstab and Street Smarts.  The massive strength buff is tempting but I'm not sure how to gauge it against the damage from backstab.  Any advice would be appreciated.

<p>First thing I would do is check around to see if there are any cheap masters/adept iii's on broker for those other abilities and if there is snatch them up.  That way you won't have to worry about having to choose them.  </p><p>Otherwise, it depends on what you need.  If you have some good equipment to buff up your strength for your level then you can probably make due with the adept I Street Smarts.  Backstab is good for the initial hit (if you sneak up to mob) but after that you have to face the mob the entire time if you are solo.  So this is real good if you group a lot.  You can also look at Flurry.  It has good damage that may be used multiple times in one encounter solo or grouped.  </p>

<p>For my soloing Brigand, I always chose the buffs to be upgraded.  Adding damage to every single is beautiful when you already have a ton of strikes.  </p><p>This choice also helped when I had to solo linked encounters.  When you have to fight four bears in BB at the same time, I'd rather have extra damage on everything than a one shot wonder on a single target.</p>

<p>thanks for the advice.</p><p> i was leaning toward street smarts, but i had considered backstab since i usually turn the mobs or stun during fights and then use it.  </p><p> it seems the choices are all pretty great, so it's just tough to choose.  </p><p> i will definitely check in with the brokers too.</p><p> thanks again.</p><p>somewhat off topic i am new to eq2 but i played ffxi for 5 years, wow for a bit, and got on aoc when it opened.  i really enjoy eq2 and the intricacies of the classes.  the only thing is, hence the questions, that i'm still feeling out the numbers of this game.</p>
