Wizard PvP help ......

<span class="postbody">I was actually thinking of switching to Warlock ...I have heard that Warlock is somehow 'better' at PvP than Wizards .....I have never had much luck with my 73 wizard PvP ....through all the tiers ....It is quite possible I just plain suck at playing a wiz PvP though...even if I do get the jump on someone and stun,etc most players simply pop a potion.It seems I NEVER stand a chance against a rogue...im usually dead before I know whats going on...I have seen <b><i>some</i></b> titled Wizzes...as high as Dreadnaught ....though I imagine they group ALOT...any advice on HOW to play a Wz Pvp would be great ....perhaps spell sequences that seem to work , etcAnd believe me...Im not complaining...Ive enjoyed being a Wizard, and I have other toons I DO do well with PvP ...but have never really achieved the nack of playing a mage PvP ...any advice would be most kind ..</span>

<p>Warlocks and Wizards are both good at pvp, and both have ups and downs. If you solo more and group some then a wizard is better for you. If you group pvp and fight other groups Warlocks are best. Group on group pvp warlocks are win hands down. WIth a good tank I can do good dps in group vs group too I usually stand back and target the healer and ice bolt and use blip(interrupt) and then follow with magma chamber to stun and if there are not two healers and no resists the healer is usually close to dead. Good thing about Wiz is they can get range ability and cast from far away without worrying about being taunted. Warlock as I said owns in group vs group dps. Fighting Rouges you have to be very fast. If they are on top of me I use Escaping Dive(arasai ability) and then stun or root the rogue they usually recover fast so I cast ice bolt (3.44 cast time) while they are stunned(magma chamber 3 secs)/rooted if interputed once dont try it again n a swash or brig cause they proc an interput 6 times per min in offensive stance so use fast casting spells and glacial shield(make sure you have it marcoed to target you) and make sure you have a next pvp target key for the loss of target.....most times rogue will pwn your face because of stun/stifle proc gear and interupts...sometimes I dont even get a chance to cast my MS.
