Question about Living Legacy Promotion

If a new player who was invited to the game by a current subscriber (so that they have until august 31st to play) decided to subscribe now, before August 31st using the monthly $14.99 option, would they lose the current free playing immediately upon subsciption, or would it be added to the free time?
