<p>I am not trying to make this a double post so please don't Ban me. I simply posted this in the Swashbuckler Forums in case Aeralik got tired of sorting through all the BS in the Epic Weapon Changes Thread. So here it is.</p><p>And another Reiteration of what we are trying to get done:</p><p>Swashbucklers would love for the Developers to take another look at our Epic Weapon. As has been stated multiple times previously in this thread, we as a community do not believe our Epic Weapon is in line with our class therefor we do not believe it is a class defineing weapon.</p><p>First and foremost, the 10% to Spell Reduction bonus that is on our weapon for one is attached to a Rouge AA Ability. The ability Traumatic Swipe is both a Brigand and Swashbuckler AA ability, but yet this is supposed to be the Swashbuckler Class defineing ability on our weapon. A simple yet easy fix to this would be for SoE to attach the reduction to a Swashbuckler CA IE: Lungbleed, Flashy Strike. Also, on a side note a 10% reduction to a mobs Spell is not a significant amount. Some numbers to reinforce our reasoning. </p><ul><li>Nexona has a Magic AE that can hit anywhere from 12-18K depending on what your resists are. If you do not have prewards or heals casted and are to close to the mob when it casts its AE, well I am sure everyone knows whats going to happen. Now even with our 10% Reduction on the Mob it is going to hit for. " 10800 - 16200 Points of Magic Damage, now I am not the best at knowing all classes but even on the lower end of the AE ( 10800 ) Its going to pretty much 1 shot alot of people. Now we can also through in that the Brigands Traumatic Swipe will overwrite ours ( even though Aeralik said it won't ). This has been tested and proven on the Training Wall in KJ. Swash starts out with nothing more than T-Swipe and you can mouse over the spell and it will read ( Decreases reuse speed of target by 50% in black and in green reads that it Reduces Damage of Targets Spells by 10%, -- Brigand then hits it and instead of putting a second dot on the mob in simply replaces it and reads only ( Decreases reuse speed of target by 50% ). </li><li>So in any event they either need to do away with the entire bonus of Spell Damage Reduction or move it to a Swashi CA bonus and increase the damage reduction amount.</li></ul><p>Secondaly, the DoT that the weapon has inflicts x% of Damage on target and y% of damage on target every 3 seconds for 30 seconds. The problem with this is that with current Haste mods and with 4.0 Sec. delay weapons the DoT is constantly overwriting itself so we never get the full damage benifit of the DoT, also with the DoT it realy messes with out ability to solo when going up against multiple mobs and we DoT one of them and we cannot mez them. And again as for being a class defineing weapon, how in the world is applieing a DoT to the weapon Class Defineing, I mean for a Swash we do not have a single DoT ( not one ).</p><ul><li>So all we ask is another simple and easy fix, increase the DD damage of it and take the DoT effect off of it. Easy simple and not something that makes it OP.</li></ul><p>Thirdly is the increase to Swarthy Disorder. It is a Dynamic increase by 8% to Swarthy Disorder. Being that it is Dynamic, we have realy no guarantee it is going to be up when we need it up most. Or guess what, it wasn't up when the ranger pulled agro but OMG it was up directly after the ranger died. Done him alot of good didn't it.</p><ul><li>Simple fix would be to make it Static. It would not take much to rescript it in, nor would it be a hard feat to accomplish.</li></ul><p>Anyways, to sum this up. We as a Swashbuckler Community are not asking for you to make us OP, but instead to fix what you call class defineing to something that the Swashbucklers would call ""Class Defineing"". Please Aeralik or any dev give us a reply and tell us something. Would settle for a simple " Get the hell over it your mythical is not changeing. " </p><p>Thanks Temptation</p>
