I dont get it, my system is far from crappy and this game just doesnt want to run for me.I get like 14fps anywhere and i dont understand.Ive used every driver i can, every in game setting from high to quality.Ive messed with custom settings.Nothing seems to work.I really want to play so there must be something thats not adding up here? Here are my system specs,Pent4 3.4ghz8800 gt ( newest WHQL driver 175.16 )2g RamXP SP3BTW the only program i have running in the background is Ventrillo but thats not it cause ive tried it without it and it still runs like crap.is there a file i can edit,a string of code i can enter that will help ? i mean there is no reason for this game to run this bad it looks good but far from good enough to be running this bad. Also the new zone in RoK runs even worse then the others and it doesnt even look that good TBH.

Cassea has made a nice post that is stickied above that can help answer some of your questions.<a rel="nofollow" href="http://forums.station.sony.com/eq2/posts/list.m?topic_id=422333" target="_blank">http://forums.station.sony.com/eq2/...topic_id=422333</a>

14fps is about right for your CPU.Look here<a href="http://www.tomshardware.com/charts/processors/3d-studio-max-9,369.html" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">http://www.tomshardware.com/charts/...-max-9,369.html</a>The P4 is about 75% slower than the new Intel CPU's at the same speed.IE a P4 3400mhz runs 75% slower than a Core Two Duo at 3400mhz and about the same speed as an old AMD 3400+So when you see "3400mhz" you have to understand that modern CPU's are running almost twice as fast as that.My system has Vista 64, an AMD 64 2x core running at 3100mhz (about 6200+ speed) as well as an Nvidia 9600GT (slower than your video card) and I'm getting about 30-40fps at 1650x1080 resolution.Your system clearly has a CPU bottleneck. EQ2 will use 100% of any "one" core CPU currently on the market. EQ2 loves to beat up CPU's and leave them on the roadside <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />-JB
