Greetings,I have just started playing eq2 recently and have been experiencing a screen freeze just about once every hour of play time. I cannot move my mouse, can't alt/tab or any such thing out of the game when this happens. It also emits a continuing noise when the game freezes. Each time I have to manually shut my computer off. This is on a brand new excellent computer, I play swg and aoc without any such problems, just this with eq2. I have had some connection issues with this new computer, but aside from those I get just about zero lag in any game with the graphics settings all jacked.I personally know close to nothing about computers, so if you need any sort of information let me know. Vista is my operating system.

Runne - Just a suggestion, but you might want to check to see if your computer has enough power to run your video card in game application settings.

Most computers today, particuarly game computers run with 850W power supplies. Lower power supplies will still run the computer, however you won't do much besides office applications and surfing the web.

While your at it, You may want to see if your card is overheating (Don't forget to check the fans for dust build up)

Hope this helps, I went through 2 video cards with eq2 before i figured out it was the power supply and not the video card.

-B-
