Why is it, that my Inquisitor and Brigand both made before the change that added detrimental effects window, can't display this window, but all the new alts made after it, show the window? And none of my characters are able to display the connectionstats window.Any ideas?

This is a complete guess, but maybe the window is off your screen? That way you wouldn't see it when you push F11 to bring up the conn stats or whatever the detrimental button is?

You might try putting all windows back to default positions (is an option in either window properties or options screen).

If that doesn't work, try making sure you have not changed your key mappings to make a different key open them. This should only matter though if your alt that works is on a different server.

*edit* another thought might be that somehow the windows are set to default completely see through and mouseover completely see through. Try using F10 to see the outline of all your active windows, inivsible or not.

It could also be under another window as well. I think the default detrimintal spot for me is under where my mini-map is and was kind of hard to find when they first added it.

I accidentally flung my map completely off the screen. I need to be able to slide windows partially off screen when in combat, but the game should not allow a window to get completely off screen. It is such a bother having to repostion everything if you accidentally lose one of the windows. It would be nice to have a restore default position button on the list of windows in Options that could be used for one window at a time.

There's an option to allow windows to go off screen that you can toggle on and off.. I believe it's under interface options. When you click to stop windows from going off screen it snaps everything back on screen.

Right click that as soon as you get it. First make it non-click through. That helps immensely. I found it on the right side of my screen, around the middle third.
