(If you dont feel like reading a rant/etc ctrl + f " 1. &quotTo the naked eye, we have gained ground. Our horrific Nil Crystals are gone. And good riddance! It only took 40+ updates for that to get addressed. We look like we are on good pace! But, if you actually have played a warlock, from 1-70, you will see that we have lost ground from 71-80. Main issues people have with us, is we are decent solo'ers. Used correctly, we are. But we are far lacking in comparison to the Wizzurd. I can deal with that, we are to be a more DoT class, then Nuke class. Different flavors. But lets take a look at what the description for a warlock says, from the Game it self. "Warlocks are masters of death and decay who channel the forces of poison and disease to bring an untimely end to their enemies. By Invoking these dark powers and unleashing destruction all around them, Warlocks can deal DEVASTATING DAMAGE against MULTIPLE OPPONENTS at once."Now let us gander at the Wizzurds, remember this is what the developers of the game, say about these classes. "The Wizard can unleash the purest forms of destruction by harnessing the arcane magics of fire and ice. Channeling the full force of these elements into deadly focus, no other type of mage is able to match the wizard's ability to inflict such great devastation upon a single target." So, from the description that The game gives you at the start of your character, you would gander an image in your head that would make some thing, warlocks are more AoE, and wizzurds are more DD. I signed on a warlock, for this reason alone. I like doing it with more then 1 at a time, blastin groups dead and seeing pretty numbers over the encounters face, a joy to be told. Granted, i knew wizzurds would have more pretty numbers in the form of 1 mob at a time. As their description reads "single target". I can live with that. This is where we have the warlock, in an expansion dominated by single target encounters, Dominated by short fight times, and dominated by hard hitting, higher resisted mobs. What does that spell for a warlock? Lower parsing ability, then other classes. How do we fix this issue? It is simple really. All we need to do, is have the developer that is now a wizzurd, be a warlock. And see how fast he runs back to a wizzurd. =)In all fairness, I really wont be playing my warlock this expansion. I have found maybe 18 different encounters on my grind of quests. out of the +100's of others. I really don't like having a punk assassin, that is being uber'fied by a developer, just because he plays that class. Or a wizzurd that gets awesome set gear, well, awesome gear in general, because our sorcerer lead dev plays a wizzurd. Past 2 expansions i have seen nothing but outstanding gear selection, and leftover joke gear going to the warlock class. Last expansion, it was our fable set gear, the bonus's blew. this expansion, oh what a surprise, the bonus's blow. Ex. aITEM -13558581 1342507013:Arcane Robe of Hatred/a Why not do it the other way around, oh wait, wouldn't want the Wizzurd community to whine more. They my just get that +100 double attack on their epic., because i so would not put it past a dev to "accidentally" add a 0 at the end.But wait, their is more! not only do we get crap gear in comparison, we also get nerfed when we become more useful then a wizzurd, AKA Propagation! Let us decide to fix something, that has been considered working as intended, after an entire expansion! Instead of actually letting the effect, not effect epics. A nerf is in order! Now, so i am not considered a troll, yes, warlocks did get a bone, Through our AA line, Hastings. That has been about the only bone, since the LU13 nerf. Are warlocks completely useless? No, far from it. The best comparison, would be warlocks to a menstrual cycle, get it good once a month, after that, its the same old same old.On a serious note, i think 4 key additions to warlock spells would help a ton. 1. Our dumbfire pets, Broodlings and the beast, make them explode like the wizzurd'd pet. Make it do a moderate amount, and have a debuff attached to it. So far, out of all the mage's, we are the only 1 that doesn't do something when our limited pet dies. Heck, i think most would be happy with just a debuff.2. Assassins have an ability, that allows them to execute all their big attacks, with 30% hate gain reduction. Why is it that is the only class that has this ability? Because that class can generate a hellaton of hate, very quickly, Simple fix for the warlocks, is give us a variation ability, on a 3 minute recast, with 40% hate reduction on encounter spells, 15% reduction to single target spells. 3. Our Encounter debuff line, that decreases max life + max power, is near if not entirely useless. Give us another Encounter nuke, that is on a 1.5 second cast time, and 28.5 second recast for a moderate amount of damage. Or, a fast ticking dot that does say 600-1056 per tick for 3 ticks every 3 seconds ~ 600 int. Master 1.4. Raid wide buffs seem to be popular. Certain classes are picked just because of the buffs given. Perhaps add +spell damage, or + double cast or even ability reuse speed. Since it seems we are no longer t1, give us utility! Now, flame me away, all you silly silly people!

You know, Hastenings could almost be an instant recast without making us overpowered.

You know, I rarely post because most of the time all of the posts are opinionated and just rants, but I got to say something here.

I am blinded by the fact that you used "wizzurds" like 900 times in your post.

Once I saw that, nothing else really mattered.
