getting error after patching wont let me log in

when i try to log in i either get "operation timed out" error or "cant seem to retrieve my account info" after it patches before it takes me to the game. The few times i did get in i would get booted 1-2 min later but worked fine yesterday . Account is still active til mid august .

Could you post a tracert and pathping? (instructions below)Some things you can also try in the mean time.  Power-cycle(unplug the power for 20-30 seconds) your modem/router.  Verify firewalls have eq2.exe and everquest2.exe added to its allowed list.If you want to PM me your station name so I can verify the account is good, please do so as well.Tracert and Pathping infoOpen up the Start menu, choose the Run command, type "command" in the space provided, then hit Enter. You may have a firewall or some other VIA produced software blocking you it seems.  You may wish to consult your hardware manufacture on the issue.
