I'm about to buy some Feysteel Armor for my SK.

Should I get all devout or get the imbued pieces where possible?

I'm thinking I can build up INT with jewelry but the procs from the imbued chest and pants are hard to beat.

For those who might say: "don't bother just blast your way through and get better gear at higher levels" my response is I've already got two high level characters, I want to turn off exp on this guy and explore all the areas I missed when I blasted through before! Yes, I know I get still get exp for gray stuff but where's the challenge?

On lower levels I went with Devout and then the Imbued Chest in legs. Eventually all sets will have all pieces and imbued chest and legs, til then I would go with the Devout and then the Imbued pieces. /shrug

Just make sure you have some decent appearence armor...yeesh, devout is TERRIBLE on the eyes!

OK, thanks!

I think I'll get the imbued Feysteel Chest and Legs (and shield) and devout for the rest.

I've got Gul Thex for my appearance slot. I like the look: shiny silver but battered and dented from combat.

One thing I don't like is the Barbute helmet that hides the whole face. I prefer the Greek-like helmet that has a slit down the middle that shows some, but not all, of the face. But I haven't been able to find any of that style that matches my armor. Does that style become available in crafted or some other style later so that I can get a good-looking set of complete armor with that helmet style?

To be honest, most helmets don't look good on characters...save for perhaps the Kerrans, but even those don't show any of their face while in plate. The SK class helm really doesn't look good on every kind of character, but seems to look real nice on Humans and Iksar. As far as good looking plate, I usually stick with the Rare t1 or t2 armor set...the level 12 stuff, I believe i's blackend alloy vanguard stuff or somehting to that extent. It's sort of rustic looking and looks like the soot foot plate armor that you can get in the 40's. The t5 mastercrafted armor (Ebon Vanguard) is nice looking because it's mostly black, and what shadowknight doesn't look good in black? T6 mastercrafted (Cobalt Vanguard) has a nice dark purply-blue appearance which isn't half bad for an SK either.

Don't worry too much about appearance, you can equip better looking armour in your appearance slots. At level 22, I went for the STA,WIS,INT stats, to buid up my spell dps and resists. At feysteel, probably going to mix the armour more to gain a bit of STR aswell, but still keep a good resist/Dps balance.
