This isn't meant to be a hate topic.  I used to be a player on eq2 and when a lot of people left for WoW I jumped on the bandwagon. After player for several years I missed eq2.  Everything about it.  most of all is the crafting system.  By far the best in anything I've seen.My question is what are the differences in a assassin vs rogue argument?say they both are level 70 and abilities (ie physical stats. agi str etc.) are relatively similar. I should be back playing as soon as military training is over with and i have time to play when ever I get home.

hmm I'm used to PVP I honestly would love feedback on either, but I understand that can be a rather long post.  So, I'll decide on PVP.

def would go STR....As you climb in levels then start branching out...Get your hands on an AA mirror so you can go back and forth between a pvp set up and pve (especially if you are going to raid)....Me personally....for pvp...I'm STR and STA all the way down with the rest of my points in AGI (for the run speed mostly) you get 70 points per tree...For the Assn tree I'm down Poisons (Frontload is hawt), Physicality (Getaway is a nice instacast stealth which is great to use with a hard hitting CA) and tricks....In the Assn tree you can max 3 trees out while in the predator tree you can only max 2 trees out....For pve in the predator tree I swapped STA for AGI all the way with the rest of my points in INT for the spell crit (which btw equals to your poison crit) Our poison dmg is procd on spell crit....But surf thru those links above and see what you like....in fact try all the trees out...WIS would be nice if it would work correctly...but that is a different story for a dif thread.
