I had this idea the other day; I thought I would throw it out and see what people thought. Instead of everyone asking for the pets to be changed as a lot of people want different graphics which is why SoE will never change them. This is where I had my idea, why not give us 3 fun spells to buy. One for each pet, you cast it on an attackable Mob and it will copy its looks and save it as an illusion. Cast it on your pet to apply the illusion.One spell for each pet buyable from the class trainers for both Necros and Conjys at the appropriate levels. I was thinking give it a 10 or 20 second cast time to copy the illusion and a 2 second cast time to apply it. The only restrictions is that when you cast it to save a illusion it acts like a hostile spell and the mob attacks you as soon as you start casting it. That way you wouldn’t be able to say cast it on some epic mob unless you or your pet can take the beating or you’re in a group that can survive it. (Personally) don’t make it cast able on guards. Although it would be cool got my 80 necros tank pet to have the look of that one guard in Neriak on the nightmare warg I just think there are enough mobs out there to pick from. Make it cast able on epics!!! If your raid can say survive a fight with Trak then you should be able to use its illusion for one of your pets as your reward. You could also give the spell some limits for the class (I wouldn’t like it but it would probably be more realistic) as to make it so Necros and only use the spell on Undead/vamps and shadow creatures and Conjys can only use the spells on Elementals and elemental/ Dijins and Dakota. That is my idea, if someone ells has posted an idea like this some ware ells I’m sorry. Post your Thoughts and ideas of how this could work or why it wouldn’t.
