I use the timelines on the wiki site and am looking for a simple list that includes the zones in the game along with the level of mobs in each zone. Does such a list exist?

Try AllakhazamOn the navigation menu you'll find an option to sort all the zones by type, etc. And, when you look at the zone it will give you a list of all the mobs, quests and connected zones.

Tier 1 : levels 1-10

All the Qeynos Newbie Zones, all the Freeport Newbie Zones, parts of Greater Faydark, Parts of Darklight Woods, and Parts of Timorous Deep. These are all the beginner zones that players start off in.

Tier 2: levels 11-20

Antonica, Commonlands, Timorous Deep, Darklight Woods, Greater Faydark. Each of these zones usually have a dungeon associated with them, such as Blackburrow in Antonica, or the Wailing Caves in Commonlands. Greater Faydark has Crushbone, but also leads to zones of much higher level. Those zones are harder to travel to in the first place, so you should be able to tell which ones you arn't suppose to go to.

Tier 3: Levels 21-30

Thundering Steppes, Nektulos Forest, Butcherblock Mountains, as well as dungeon zones such as Stormhold, Fallen Gate, Ruins of Varsoon. Stormhold and Fallen Gate are located in Antonica and Commonlands, respectively, but are found in areas where the mobs outside are close to thier level.

Tier 4: Level 31-40.

Enchanted Lands, Zek, Parts of Steamfont Mountains, and Runnyeye located in the Enchanted Lands.

Tier 5: level 41-50

Feerrott and the Temple of Cazic Thule, Lavastorm and Solusek's Eye, Rivervale, Parts of Steamfont Mountains and Klak'anon, The Obelisk of Lost Souls, Everfrost and Permafrost.

Tier 6: level 51-60

Sinking Sands, Pillars of Flames, Clefts of Rujark, Shimmering Citadel, Poet's Palace, Lesser Faydark, Mystic Lake.

Tier 7: level 61-70

Loping Plains and Crypt of Valdoon, Tenebrous Tangle and the Sanctum of the Scaleborn, Barren Sky, Nest of the Great Egg, Palace of the Awakened, and Vaults of El'Urad, Bonemire and Den of the Devourer, New Tunaria, Obelisk of Blight, The Acadechism in Greater Faydark, The Forsaken City and Nizara, Kaladim.

Tier 8: level 71-80

Castle Mistmoore, Unrest (technically), everything in Kunark.

That covers the most of it.

A lot of the high level zones in the last two expansions fall under two different tiers, but the fact remains that Kylong Plains is still a T8 zone.
