Ok so I have this Brigand friend who likes her character to wear black leather. While I was hunting in the Feerrot, in the ocean to be more specific, when a piece of armor dropped that got me excited. The armor I'm talking about is a resist set called sharkskin armor. I got the helm to drop and after finding some other parts I decided I'd try to get this set for my friend. Unfortunately it seems like there is no tunic, boots or wrist guard for this set. I've checked a bunch of sites and I haven't been able to find the rest of the set. Is it unfinished? The sharkskin armor is the black and blue leather armor.

Ooh, I'd love those pants for my bruiser. Dumb question, but did it drop off sharks or rays or both? And I wonder if I can get it to drop for me at level 80...Also, was it the ocean area right off the dock with the bell, by the huptiks?

There are many sets of armor out there that are not complete.

There are however pieces to other sets that will often match what your looking for but you have to find them.

I would start looking on the broker daily for the missing pieces, and search all levels not just the level the other armor is from, you may find out that a good match will be way over your current level.

I don't know what level your friend is but here are some Crafted Amor pieces that can be expencive(it's rare armor) that could go with that outfit.

Not really a good match but lower level

And

I tried em all but wasn't satisfied with the look, combining different sets just looks odd in my personal opinion. I think I'll keep seeing if I can find a good match though.

You can find a very alike look in crafted tier3 leather set (rare, not sure if the same applies for non rare), with the main exception of going in black/green instead of black/purple. Some pieces are mainly black'ish so wouldnt stand out much (the chest from my memory matches fairly well). There are also random black/purple out there as drops, but I cant recall names atm. Checking the broker daily for leather is usually the best way to finding missing parts tho.

If you spend time on the broker using your preview window, you'll find that there are several sets of armor that look just like what you're wearing.. One set that I can remember drops in Thundering steppes... There's also a blue / sky blue set that shares the same overall pattern.. Something bearskin something... Drop[s off the bears near the beginning of TS..

Actually Agony I have to thank you for the Black Iron Chain suggestion. Out of all the armor sets it was the only set dark enough to actually blend with the sharkskin armor. I really would love to see this armor set finished, but I can't complain now as I have an outfit I am happy to send to my friend. Thank you everyone for your help!

Mysticdraco, I just found the top that matches that set. It's called Soft Turtle Shell Tunic. It's the same level range with the same resist only stats that the shark skin armor has. I'm betting it drops in the same zone only off the turtles (if only the sharks drop the rest) and there might be boots with the same name to go with it. Personally, I'd be killing everything underwater in that zone that's in the 31 range.
