Hi, I'd like to play EQ2 during my holydays. In order to do that, I need to install the game in my brand new compaq presario C700 laptop (I usually play in my desktop computer). Is it possible to install the game in 2 different computers and play with the same account? (not at the same time, of course).I've tried to install it in the laptop, and everything ran just fine until the update/character select page, I'm not allowed to update or play...If it's not possible, I'll be forced to cancel my subscription during the whole august Thanks for your help!

EQ2 doesn't care how many computers you have it housed on. As you surmise, the limiting factor is number of accounts owned. Gotta have multiple account to two- or three-box. As to why the game won't run on your laptop, it's either due to inadequate hardware (most likely a substandard graphic sub-system, but maybe something else) or a configuration issue. If your laptop runs Vista (SP1???) you might wanna read through other threads here and see what folk have done to insure compatibility. But first off give us more info on the laptop, including OS.UPDATE: Just checked the specs on your Compaq. What worries me is this:---Intel(R) Graphics Media Accelerator X3100I'm not up on laptop video chipsets, but the Intels are not known for their gaming performance.

Yes you can run your account on 2 different PCs, but not at the same time. That would require 2 subscriptions.Roybob was spot on what he said the Intel cards.
