DOuble up and t7 combat arts in T8

I have almost all my t7 spells mastered and dont see alot of upgrade in t8 adept 3s. I was wondering if Double up will work with my t7 CA till i can get them upgraded or will i be unable to double up the CA once i level till i get the t8 versions.

No, Double Up will work on your T7 CA's just like it does with T2 CA's and T8 CA's. It's not a "tier-dependant" combat art. Heck, remember that Double Up is a T6 CA itself.

Boy do I wish Vindayne had it rightDouble up only works with spells that are current as listed in its very long description.Each level up invalidates the spells replaced from the previous tier.Example:Level 74 and no dispatched.Try to double up dispatch and nothing happens.Scribe Dispatched and try to double up dispatch again.  Dispatch does not double up but Dispatched is fired instead.Duufus

thats what i had thought as it did not work when i mentored friends i was suspecting the limitation in t8. so one more question. if i have a t7 ability mastered and i have the t8 adept1 for example. can i use the t7 and then will double up trigger the t8 version. I know this is not the most effective way to play but loams are very hard to find on my server so i am considering the options as i level up.

For the time you are lvling you may wanna only upgrade to ad3 your unmastered t7 cas...and the few t8 cas you wanna double up...Most of our cas aren't worth doubling anyway <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />

For me the 4 that I normally double up (with sailwind 3 CAs will double up) :Single Target:Enfeeblement (used over dispatched to make sure of rear position, nothing like a miscalled Dispatched in raid) DispatchedBlood RakeMulti Target:EnfeeblementDispatchedBarroom NegotiationIf your Double up is Adept1 or your t8 version CA is Adept1 then your doubled up spell will be at the Adept1 level.Duufus

my double up is at master level i am just trying to look at the options as loams are rediculous to get on my server most of the time. Like i said, I know this is not the most effective wayt to play but i want to know what is possible then adjust for my play as time and money allows.
